1. Settlement of the contract

By signing the registration form or sending the online-registration form the student (or in case of those underage, the legal parents or guardian) automatically recognizes the following conditions of paricipation set by dialoge Sprachinstitut.

2. Terms of payment

2.1. The course fees can be paid by cheque, by credit card or by bank transfer to the following bank account:

2.2. On registration a deposit of EUR 300.- + EUR 13.- bank fee has to be made.

2.3. Upon the first payment, the course participant will receive an invoice/confirmation.

2.4. After having sent the invoice/confirmation, the reservation of the course place will become binding for dialoge Sprachinstitut upon receipt of the deposit or the full payment.

2.5. If payment is not received until Friday before the course starts, the paricipant loses the right to participate in that course.

2.6. dialoge Sprachinstitut retains the right to claim full payment in such cases.

3. Prices

The contractually binding price is the price stated in the price list current at the time of application.

4. Cancellation

4.1. A participant may cancel a course only four weeks or more before the scheduled starting date of the course. In such cases, dialoge Sprachinstitut refunds the course fee minus an administrative fee of EUR 150,-.

4.2. The date of cancellation is the date notice of such was received at dialoge Sprachinstitut in Lindau.

4.3. Cancellation four weeks or less before the scheduled starting date of the course is not allowed.

4.4. This does not affect a participant's right to extraordinary cancellation.

4.5. If a participant does not appear at the starting date of the course or if a participant cancels a course within four weeks of its scheduled starting date, then the participant has a claim to be reimbursed for course fees paid only if the vacancy can be filled by another participant. In such cases, dialoge Sprachinstitut still retains an administrative fee of EUR 150.-.

4.6. Numbers 4.1-4.6 are valid for all booked services.

5. Lodging

The dialoge Sprachinstitut is the letter for the lodgings of its host families, i.e. the contractual relationship for lodgings is beween the dialoge Sprachinstitut and the course paricipant, not the course participant and the landlord.

6. Obligations of the participant

6.1. It is the obligaion of the course participant to be sure that his or her stay in Germany is legal. dialoge Sprachinstitut assumes that participants have the necessary and legal papers to enter Germany and to reside there for the duration of their studies.

6.2. The course participant is solely responsible for his or her own health, accident, liability. Lindauer Sprachinstitut assumes no liability whatsoever in such instances.

7. Liabilities of dialoge Sprachinstitut

7.1. dialoge Sprachinstitut is not liable should it be prevented from carrying out its obligations because of an Act of God or other event beyond its control. This does not affect the liability of dialoge Sprachinstitut for damages caused by it or its employees, caused either willfully or by negligence.

7.2. Should a paricipant be prevented from fully completing his or her course for personal reasons (e.g. illness, residency permit, difficulties, professional or personal obligations, etc.), the participant has neither claim to a reimbursement of course fees nor to a transfer ta a future course.

This does not affect the rules governing cancellation as set forth in Number 4 of these terms and conditions.

8. Right to privacy

The participant knowingly allows dialoge Sprachinstitut to enter his or her personal information as stated on the application form into its electronic data banks. This information will be processed and handled electronically.
