This is how a one-week summer course in Lindau of a school class may be organised:
Day 1: Arrival
The students will be picked up at the train station by their host families.
Day 2: Getting to know each other / Lindau
08:20 – 12:30: German course
14:00: city tour Lindau, afterwards boat rallye
Day 3: Bregenz and the Alps
08:20 – 12.30: German course
14:00: trip to Bregenz (Austria): tour through the old town, to the Pfänder mountain and the festival theatre “Festpielhaus Bregenz”
20:00: school cinema
Day 4: Germany's oldest castle
08:20 – 12.30: German course
13:00: trip to Meersburg to visit Germany's oldest castle. We will be back around 18:30.
The evening is free, so students have the opportunity to spend the evening with their host families.
Day 5: Activities at Lake Constance
08:20 – 12.30: German course
Students have a free afternoon
18:30: bike tour and barbecue at Lake Constance
Day 6: Culture capital Munich
08:20 – 12.30: German course
1 1/2 days trip to Munich, visiting the famous museum "Deutsches Museum" and other interesting sights (according to interest).
Day 7: Culture capital Munich
1 1/2 days trip to Munich, visiting the famous museum "Deutsches Museum" and other interesting sights (according to interest).
